NINE POUND HAMMER
There never would have been a Nashville Pussy without Nine Pound
Hammer. Blaine and Ruyter actually met at a Nine Pound Hammer show.
Ruyter was a "groupie". And after listening to Nine Pound Hammer
you would be a groupie yourself. Rock N' Roll mixed in with some
redneck and punk rock flavor. Blaine played guitar for the band,
wrote many of the songs, and even did vocals on a couple tracks.
Ruyter herself got in the action when she co-wrote a song and did
photography for thre band. The guys from Nine Pound Hammer have
plans for future gigs and recordings so be sure to check them out.

PHANTOM CREEPS
Before Jeremy Thompson took over drumming duties for Nashville Pussy
he played drums in a number of bands in Texas including the surf-horror
trio known as The Phantom Creeps. He was in this band with former
Nashville Pussy Creepy Scott. Several releases came out including
7"'s and one CD (thanks Beth) which is listed here. This material
is hard to come by.

Current Nashvile Pussy bass player Katie Campbell is known as Vampire
Girl in the Surf Trio known as Famous Monsters. She plays guitar
for the band. The band has released a 7" and a full length album.
Katie still retains the duties of guitar player for the band and
the band currently calls themselves Fabulous Monsters. Read more

THE HOOKERS
The Hookers are led by Adam Neal on vocals. Adam was Nashville Pussys
first drummer. He was in Nine Pound Hammer with Blaine at the end
of the original Nine Pound Hammer days and began drumming duties
for Nashville Pussy when they formed.. Adam recorded with Nashville
Pussy and he's on a few of the early Nashville Pussy 7"'s. Check
